I'm Taylor Helms. I started The Roof Wizards because I kept running into the same thing around the Grand Valley. Homeowners being told they needed a new roof when what they actually had was a roof that had dried out.
At this elevation, with this much sun and this little rain, asphalt shingles lose their oils years before they lose their usefulness. Knowing the difference can save a family a five-figure bill.
My goal is not to sell you something. It is to tell you what your roof actually needs, so you can make a good call for your home and your budget.
Why "Wizards"
There is real chemistry behind what we do. Shingles lose oils, and the treatment we use puts them back. Most roofing companies in the valley have never read the lab results. We have.
We do rejuvenation only. We do not sell or install new roofs, so our recommendation has nothing riding on it but your roof.
What we will never do
- Tell you that you need a new roof when you do not
- Tell you rejuvenation will fix a roof that has already failed
- Start work without a written scope and price in your hands
- Promise a result the lab data does not support
